SURGICAL APPLICATIONS

It is the department which implements diagonoses and treatments on the disorders in oral cavity, problems concerned with soft and tough tissues by operating with local anaesthsia, general anesthesia and sedational anesthesia. Oral, denthal and jaw surgery which is known as jaw surgery in public generally includes surgical operations applied to impacted teeth, treatments of cysts on jaw and surrounding tissues and suchlike anomalie, operations for dental implants, tooth extraction and disorders.

 

DISORDERS INCLUDED BY JAW SURGERY

-Tooth extraction

– extraction of impacted teeth and teeth with complication : teeth on the backwards of mouth could generally  be impacted. Wisdom teeth, canine teeth, second incisors and second grinders can appear in these teeth. IMPACTED TOOTH OPERATIONS

 

Wisdom teeth are the latest erupted ones. There is generally no appropriate gap for these teeth to erupt. They do not completely erupt and cause toothache, earache and inability to open mouth. They can not be cleaned sufficiently as they are at the back and they cause inflammation in gingiva. Surgical applications are implemented in such cases.
